PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A man was arrested early Saturday by Pierre Police on four charges after officers were called to a location on Kennedy Drive and the report of a domestic dispute. Pierre Police Captain Elton Blemaster says 20-year-old Jerald Noisy Hawk was taken into custody on charges that include Underage Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage, Simple Assault Domestic, Aggravated Assault Against a Law Officer and Sexual Contact without Consent. Blemaster says that when officers arrived at the scene, they heard yelling. It’s alleged that Noisy Hawk tried to grab an officer to keep him from going into the residence. Noisy Hawk was tazed by an officer and was taken into custody. Blemaster says a woman at that location had reportedly been thrown down to the floor, and was kicked and punched. She was transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
