Rattlers Eliminated From State Class A Amatuer Baseball Tournament

 YANKTON, S.D. – The Rapid City A’s scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to come from behind and down the Pierre Rattlers 9-8, eliminating the Rattlers from the State Class A Amatuer Baseball Tournament. The Rattlers took a 8-6 lead into the ninth inning but could not hold on. Dalton Decker led the Rattlers with 3 of the team’s 9 hits and had 3 RBI’s. Allen Goodman started and went 6 innings before being relieved by pick up player Dominic Weisler from Watertown. None of the runs Wiesler allowed were earned as the Rattlers committed 9 errors in the game compared to 6 by Rapid City. The loss ends Pierre’s season with a 25-4 record.
