Pierre Teen Chosen as Miss South Dakota Job’s Daughter

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) A Pierre teen was chosen as Miss South Dakota Job’s Daughters and Miss Congeniality at a recent statewide meeting held in Rapid City. Kelbie Frederick will represent South Dakota’s Job’s Daughters at meetings and events across the state in the coming year. She will go on to compete in the International Miss Job’s Daughter Pageant in Baltimore, Maryland on August 9. Her special projects are foster care and scholarships and she will be raising money to fund the programs during her term as Miss South Dakota Job’s Daughters. A reception will be held to honor Frederick next month at the Masonic Temple in Pierre. The event is planned for Saturday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. Job’s Daughters is a Masonic-sponsored organization for youth women ages 10-20. The local group is called Bethel 10 and its major charity is HIKE, the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment. Job’s Daughters teaches leadership and builds character.
