PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre 15-16 Teener White Sox did something last night they have not done very often this season.  They swept a doubleheader.  The White Sox downed the Watertown White Sox 9-7 and 10-2 last night at Hyde Stadium.  The win in the first game counted in the standings in the state VFW League.  In the opener, the White Sox scored 5 runs in the 5th inning to push ahead for good.  Trey Campbell was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s to pace Pierre at the plate.  Conner Jallo was the winning pitcher in the opener going 5 innings allowing 5 runs on 5 hits.  Ben Eisenbiesz pitched the final two innings to get the save.  In the nightecap, the White Sox had 11 hits and tallied 10 runs led by Nick Rabern who went 4 for 4 and Conner Ryan went the distance on the mound allowing 2 runs on 5 hits.  The sweep improves the White Sox record to 12-17 on the season as they travel to Aberdeen for a doubleheader tomorrow evening.
