PIERRE, S.D. - The Pierre Rattlers amateur baseball team won their 10th straight last night but it wasn’t easy. The Rattlers took on Wessington Springs in the regular season home finale and outscored their visitors 12-11. Wessington Springs had beaten Pierre the first time the two teams played. Tyson Lindekugel delivered his 5th hit of the night to drive in the game winning run. The Rattlers bats came alive with 20 hits on the night. Lindekugel had 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s on the night. Brian Graves had 4 hits and pitched a scoreless ninth inning to pick up his first win of the season. Graves was the 4th pitcher used by the Rattlers in the game. The Rattlers close out the regular season on Saturday when they travel to Redfield for a doubleheader. Pierre will host the 4 team Region 1 tournament on July 28th and 29th.
