UNDATED – (DRG News) The City of Presho continues asking residents again today to restrict their use of water. Yesterday, the city put out the word that a water use restriction was in place. Mike Sprenger, Mayor of Presho says residents should avoid any unnecessary use of water again today. He says temporary water restrictions are in place because of supply issues. Sprenger says the West River-Lyman Jones Water System is having issues getting normal water supplies along its system to Presho and the city is unable to fill its water tower as quickly as usual. Sprenger says the city will notify residents when service returns to normal.
Meanwhile, water service in Hoven is back up to par after a water main broke in town Sunday morning. There was no water while the main was repaired and service was returned Sunday afternoon.
