USD Womens Basketball Adds Recruit

¬†VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota head women’s basketball coach Amy Williams announced yesterday that Taneesha Greaves of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, has signed to continue her career with the Coyote basketball program. Greaves, a 5-foot-7 point guard, spent the past two seasons at Oak Hill Academy in Wilson, Va. In 2011-12, she averaged 13 points and six assists per game after returning from surgery which sidelined her for all but two quarters of the 2010-11 campaign. In 2009-10 she averaged 22 points, seven assists and 3.5 steals per game as a member of the Glenlawn Collegiate varsity team. In the summer of 2009 she received first-team all-star honors at the Canadian National tournament, and was selected as an alternate player for the Team Canada Cadet National Team in 2010.
