USD Adds Basketball Recruit

VERMILLION, S.D. – University of South Dakota head men’s basketball coach Dave Boots announced Monday that Melbourne, Australia, native, Adam Thoseby has inked with the Coyotes bringing the 2012-13 recruiting class to six. Thoseby will sit out the 2012-13 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but will have three years of eligibility with the Coyotes beginning in 2013-14.   Thoseby most recently was at Utah State where he played in 28 games and started two.  He averaged eight minutes per game and went 16 of 59 from the field, including 10 of 32 from beyond the arc for fifth-best on the team.  Prior to Utah State, Thoseby played in the summer of 2011 for Great Britain’s U-20 basketball team which participated in the European Championships as Thoseby’s team eventually bowed out in the semifinals.
