PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Rattlers Amatuer baseball team moved to 12 games over the .500 mark last night as they traveled to Miller and came home with an 11-2 victory. The Rattlers jumped on Miller for 6 runs in the first two innings of the game and used the long ball as Tyson Lindekugel, Brian Graves and Ryan Yackly all hit home runs and Harry Decker had 3 hits to lead the Rattler offense. On the mound, Allen Goodman went 7 innings allowing 7 hits, 2 runs and struck out 7 while walking two. Matt Sisk pitched a hitless 8th and 9th inning. The win moves the 3rd rated Rattlers to 14-2 on the season. The Rattlers were scheduled to go to Rapid City for a doubleheader but instead will head to Martin for a doubleheader scheduled for 1 or 2 pm mountain time start time tomorrow. Pierre is at home on Wednesday when the host Four Corners at 7:30 pm. Tuesday’s scheduled game at Winner has been cancelled due to a field conflict.
