Uttermark Wins Runoff Election for SDHSAA Seat

PIERRE, S.D. – Aberdeen Central principal Jason Uttermark has been elected to a five-year term on the South Dakota High School Activities Association board of directors.  Uttermark won a run-off election against Mark Hofer of Sioux Falls Roosevelt to fill the Division I representative position that had been filled by Aberdeen Central athletic director Gene Brownell. The Division I schools are the biggest schools in the state. Uttermark, a 21-year veteran in education, has been at Aberdeen Central since 2005 and was principal at Redfield before that.
