Dakota State Football Player Earns Pre Season All America Honor

┬áMADISON, SD – The Dakota State University’s football season opener is just less than two months away, but preseason honors have already started coming in for Eric Liles. He was named to the 2012 Beyond Sports Network (BSN) NAIA Preseason All-American second team. It was announced by BSN this week. Liles, a senior defensive linebacker, led the Trojans with 94 tackles during the 2011 season. He averaged 10.4 tackles per game. According to the DakStats-NAIA statistical website in 2011, Liles ranks sixth in the nation in tackles (all positions) per game. Liles amassed a total of 268 tackles during his career at DSU.

    I heard a couple scouts talking about him but I think he might get a free agent deal.
