SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Indoor Football League has suspended Sioux Falls Storm head coach Kurtiss Riggs for two-games and fined the team 25-hundred dollars, for claims of overcompensation of a former player. The league says that it involves a third party vehicle which took the player to a school appearances and it is implyng that the team provided a vehcile for a player, and that’s its against league rules. The Storm and owner Tom Tryon dispute that. Riggs is out for the first two rounds of the playoffs. Round one is tonight when Sioux Falls hosts Lehigh Valley. Riggs is the most successful head coach in the IFL. He’s in his tenth season with the Storm, and has lead the team to five championships.
