Rattlers Win Twice on Sunday

 PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Rattlers amateur baseball team continues to have success in the early part of the season. The Rattlers downed Class B’s second ranked Redfield 3-2 in the first game of a triangular yesterday at Hyde Stadium. In the second game, Pierre recorded a 10 run 11-1 win over Custer. Brian Graves had a 2 run double that proved to be the winning runs for Pierre in the win over Redfield. In the win over Custer, Ryan Yackley went 4 for 4 with 4 RBI’s. Dalton Decker went 5 for 6 on the day at the plate and had 3 RBI’s. His brother, Harry, pitched a complete game in the opener against Redfield striking out 5. The Rattlers improved to 7-1 on the season as they host 4 Corners, a team that Pierre beat twice in their season opener, Wednesday night at Hyde Stadium with a scheduled 7:30 pm starting time.
