Rapid City Stevens in search for New Head Boys Basketball Coach

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens head boys basketball coach TJ Hay has resigned from the position.  Hay’s resignation was formally accepted Thursday night at the Rapid City Area Schools board meeting, ending a tenure that saw the Raiders go 111-169 and reach the Class AA state tournament four times in 2002, ’03, ’06 and ’07. The position has been posted and Rapid City Stevens Athletic Director Jared Vasquez said there have been applicants, but he cited district protocol in not announcing any names. Hay will continue as a physical education teacher at the school.
