FT. PIERRE, S.D. – The 2012 Casey Tibbs Match of Champions were determined Saturday night in Ft. Pierre. When it was all said and done, there was not one or two winners but three cowboys tied for the top spot. Sterling Crowly, Taos Murray and Jesse Bail all scored rides of 87 in the championship round. Crowly scored his 87 on Burch Rodeo’s “Lunatic Fringe:. Murray rode Harry Vold Rodeo’s “Painted Valley” to a score of 87 and Bail road Sutton Crystal Springs Rodeo Chuckulator to a final score of 87. Korkow Rodeo’s of Pierre had the Champion in the Futurity Round with their bronc “Mossbrucker 2”. There were a total of 30 cowboys who rode broncs Saturday night in the Match of Champions.
