PIERRE, S.D. – The Pierre Rattlers amatuer baseball team will be playing in their first tournament of the season tomorrow and Sunday in Sioux Falls. The Rattlers, who opened the season with a doubleheader sweep of 4 Corners on Monday will play the Brookings Cubbys and a team from Sioux City in thier opening round of the tournament tomorrow. The games are being played at the Harmonden Complex and the tournament features teams from South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota. Player-head coach Tyson Lindekugel says that it will be good to go up against the competition in this tournament to see where the Rattlers stand early in the season. The home opener for Pierre will be next Wednesday when they host Miller.
