FARGO, N.D. – Behind a quality start from Mark Michael and a three-hit performance by Jared Bolden, the Sioux Falls Pheasants bounced back from a shutout loss with a 5-2 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Sunday afternoon. Playing a road series for the first time this season, the Pheasants won the rubber game and clinched their first series win of the year. Michael (1-1), the Pheasants’ Opening Day starter, silenced the RedHawks by allowing just one hit through the first four innings. He limited the opposition to two runs on four hits in six-plus innings to notch his first victory of 2012. He walked six and struck out four. Bolden finished the afternoon 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI, stretching a hitting streak to nine games to lead the Pheasants on offense.
