SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Pheasants center fielder Jonny Kaplan homered twice, but the Sioux Falls Pheasants lost the rubber game of a three-game American Association series to the St. Paul Saints Thursday night, 6-4, before a crowd of 2,570 at Sioux Falls Stadium. Sioux Falls starter Mitchell Clegg pitched into the sixth inning, but stumbled in a three-run third inning.  Stranded runners plagued the Pheasants, who loaded the bases twice with no outs and yielded only 1 run.  Flandreau native and Augustana alumnus Brett Severtson earned the win for St. Paul with three innings pitched in relief of starter Alberto Rolon.
