SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Jared Bolden’s clutch grand slam propelled the Sioux Falls Pheasants to a 5-3 win Tuesday night against the St. Paul Saints, evening their record to 2-2. With the bases loaded and two out in the seventh, Bolden scorched the first pitch he saw from reliever Billy Spottiswood over the right field wall, giving the Pheasants a 5-2 lead. Tom Heithoff (1-0) earned the win in relief of starter Mark Michael. He pitched two innings, striking out two while allowing one run. Cody Evans pitched a scoreless ninth for his first save of the year. Game two of the series is tonight.
