SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – A lack of moisture is causing concern in some parts of South Dakota after another week of warm, windy weather.
The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop and weather report that topsoil moisture overall still is rated 81 percent adequate to surplus, and subsoil moisture is rated 79 percent in those categories.
Range and pasture conditions in the state are rated 72 percent in good to excellent condition.
