Several Athletes Have Big Days at Region 3B Track Meet

GETTYSBURG, S.D. – Gettysburg won the Girls Team title and Eureka-Bowdle took the Boys Team Title of the Region 3B Track and Field Meet yesterday in Gettysburg.  Austin Iverson of Herreid-Selby won twice on the track taking the 110 and 300 meter hurdles while running a leg on the winning 4×100 meter relay.  Tate Nafziger of Gettysburg also was a double winner winning the Discus and Shot Put titles at the meet.  In the girls division, Jessica Wager of Gettysburg was a triple winner individually taking titles in the 200 and 400 meter dashes and taking the title in the Pole Vault.  Kelsey Lee, a freshman from Faulkton won the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.  Next up for the Class B squads is the State Class B Track and Field meet in Rapid City next Friday and Saturday.
