ABERDEEN, S.D. – The 26th annual South Dakota All-Star Games July 17-18 in Aberdeen will have a bit of a different look and format. According to the group’s Web site, there will be two days of competition instead of three, plus a new venue on the Aberdeen Central campus has been added. The all-star basketball games will be played on the 17th and remain at Wachs Arena on the Northern State campus. The girls will play at 6 p.m. and the boys at 8 p.m. The next night, ont he 18th, the volleyball match and football game will be played at the Golden Eagles Arena with the volleyball game at 5 p.m. and nearby Swisher Field will host the football game at 7:30 p.m. Last year was the last one for wrestling, and golf was eliminated after the 2010 Games.
