5 Juveniles arrested after crime spree in Walworth County

Mobridge, S.D. –  (DRGNews) 5 Juveniles have been apprehended after an armed crime spree in Walworth County. Walworth County Sheriff Duane Mohr said that he received a call just before 4am that Shorty’s One Stop in Selby had been held up by gun point. With the help of the Potter County Sheriffs office, a vehicle was stopped after the robbery and juveniles inside the car fled on foot into a field. Authorities gave chase and caught the juveniles in the field. The 5 juveniles in custody are said to have left the Aberdeen Treatment Center around 11:15pm Monday night. The group of kids also broke into Thompsons Trucks and Autos in Mobridge and went through numerous cars and stole a van in which they were driving south on highway 83 when Potter County Authorities tried to apprehend them.
