Mobridge,S.D.(DRGNEWS)- People in Mobridge will get an opportunity to welcome home the soldiers of Detachment 2 of The 200th Engineering Company on Saturday. The soldiers are scheduled to deactivate in a ceremony at Peirre Riggs High School Saturday morning at 10:00 AM central time. At approximately noon central time the soldiers from Detachment two will caravan back to Mobridge and should arrive in Mobridge around 2:00 or 2:30 PM central time. There will be a parade for the soldiers that will start at East River Lumber and Grain and continue from West Grand Crossing to Main Street then from Main Street they will continue to West Grand Crossing to the Hospital Road to 12th Street ultimately ending up at Mobridge Pollock High School for a brief welcome home ceremony. KOLY AM1300 along with KGFX AM1060 will carry the deactivation ceremony live. The caravan from Pierre to Mobridge will have live reports from the road with Andy Shoe on hand keeping the listeners updated on the location of the caravan. The live reports will be heard on KOLY AM1300 and Star 99. People are encouraged to show their support of our soldiers both along the route and at Mobridge Pollock High School.
