Dakota State Eliminated in Regional NAIA Baseball Tournament

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Dakota State University Baseball team lost their second game of the Hutchinson, Kansas Regional baseball tournament this morning and was eliminated from the NAIA Baseball Tournament playoffs.  Dakota State dropped a 9-4 verdict to Judson University of Illinois in an elimination game.  Judson scored 4 times in the first inning off of starting and losing pitcher Anyelo Roman.  Judson added 3 runs in the 4th and 2 runs in the 7th to advance to another elimination game in the double elimination tournament against Tabor College later this today.  Jason Hershfield had 3 hits for DSU while Rays Roman and Kyle Holland each had 2 hits apeice for 7 of DSU’s 10 hits.  Dakota State ends their season with a 28-28 record.
