Man Found in Pool Brought to Hospital for Treatment

PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Pierre Police Department and an AMR ambulance responded to a call at the Ramkota today, for the report of a possible drowning there. Pierre Police Captain Dave Panzer says officials were contacted about one o’clock and on arrival, found an unresponsive man in the pool. Panzer says the man was brought to St. Mary’s Healthcare Center to be treated. Late this afternoon, Panzer said he was still receiving medical treatment. The circumstances behind the incident are still uncertain and Panzer says it’s unknown if the man suffered a medical issue while in the pool.
