INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA has released the second central region rankings and the NSIC boasts six of the top eight teams in the region, which is comprised of the NSIC and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Minnesota State is ranked number one in the region with St. Cloud State third and Wayne State fifth. Augustana is sixth followed by Winona State at seven and Concordia-St. Paul tied for eighth. The top six teams in the 18-team region will advance to the NCAA region tournament on May 17-21. Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the NSIC and RMAC postseason tournaments, with the remaining four spots awarded on an at-large basis.
