MOBRIDGE, S.D. – Gettysburg fired a 284 team score to claim a 5 stroke victory over runnerup Bowdle to take the boys division of the Mobridge-Pollock Invitational Golf Tournament yesterday in Mobridge. In the Girls division, the host Mobridge-Pollock squad fired a 367 and recorded a 110 stroke victory over runner up Cheyenne Eagle Butte. Stanley County did not have enough golfers in the boys division to record a team score. The Buffalo’s Nate Cronin fired a 93 to claim a 4th place finish indvidually while Blake Onken had a 117 for a 22nd place finish. Cole Hawkinson of Gettysburg won the tournament title in the boys division with a 91 defeating Colton Kettlehut of Miller in a playoff for the title. Chelsey Hoffman of Mobridge-Pollock had a 91 to claim a 1 stroke victory over Shauni Schwartz of Herreid in the girls division.
