SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – Crews are working toward a summer finish for a $6.7 million renovation project at the Howard Wood Field sports complex in Sioux Falls. A ribbon-cutting at the 55-year-old complex is set for August, with the grand reopening on Aug. 24 featuring a high school football game between Sioux Falls Roosevelt and Aberdeen. Changes at the facility owned by the Sioux Falls School District will range from refurbished grandstands with wooden seating instead of aluminum to a resurfaced track around the field.
