PIERRE, S.D. – (DRG News) The Board of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired is teaming with other organizations to hold a Disability Services Summit and Lunch Meeting in Lower Brule on Thursday. The event is organized to give people a chance to discuss services for South Dakota citizens with disabilities. The meeting is for all interested organizations; those who are current and past recipients of services, employers, service providers and family members. Anyone who may need special accommodations to participate should call 945-2207 or 1-800-210-0143. The Disability Services Summit is also sponsored by the Maza Oyate Vocational Rehabilitation Services, the Board of Vocational Rehabilitation and the statewide Independent Living Council. It will take place Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Buffalo Casino Convention Center in Lower Brule.
