Chamberlain Boys and Kadoka Girls Run to Titles at Chamberlain

CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. – Chamberlain took the boys team title and Kadoka Area captured the girls crown at Saturday’s Chamberlain Invitational Track and Field meet.  In the boys, Jesse Kraft of Wessington Springs was a double winner on the track capturing the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.  In the girls division, Tia Carlson of Kadoka was a triple winner individually on the track winning the 800 meter, 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs.  Jesse Guptil of Philip won twice capturing first place in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.  Ali Haynes of Kimball-White Lake took the Long Jump and Triple Jump and Sully Buttes won a pair of relays capturing the 400 and 800 meter relay titles.  Along with Sully Buttes, area teams in the field included Chamberlain, Highmore-Harrold, Philip, Kadoka, White River, Lyman and Crow Creek.
