CHAMBERLAIN, S.D. (Rod Fisher Dakota Radio Group) – The Winner boys scored 125 points and the Winner Girls garnered 151 pointsto win the Big Dakota Conference Boys and Girls Track and Field Titles yesterday in Chamberlain. Todd County was second with 112 and Mobridge Pollock scored 106 to finish third in the boys division. Stanley County scored only 3 points on the day. The Buffalo 800 meter relay team had a 5th place finish and the 400 meter relay team finished 6th. Dyson Lends His Horse of Cheyenne Eagle Butte won twice on the track taking the 800 and 1600 meter runs and Daniel Roberts of Mobridge-Pollock captured the Discus and Shot Put titles and Hudson Priebe of Chamberlain won twice individually taking the Long Jump and 110 meter high hurdles. In the Girls, Miller was a distant second to Winner with 118 points. Stanley County scored 29 points. Dayna Diesz of Winner won twice individually capturing the 300 meter Hurdles and the Triple Jump. The only other double winner on the track on the meet was Kass Keller of Mobridge-Pollock who won the 200 meter and 400 meter dashes. For Stanley County, Shelby Geinger had a 3rd place finish in the High Jump and Kelsey Vandenhemmel finished third in the 800 meter run for the Lady Buffalos best finishes of the day.
