ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota freshman Morgan Hancock has been named the College Sports Madness Summit League Softball Player of the Week. College Sports Madness identifies the highest impact players nationally and from each conference in its weekly feature. Hancock had an outstanding week in helping the Coyotes to a 4-1 mark. Hancock finished the week hitting .553 (8-of-15) with two homers and five RBI. She also had a double and four runs scored along with a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .636 on-base percentage. Hancock helped the Coyotes record their first-ever Summit League sweep with three wins over Oakland.
