SDSU Unveils Newly Renovated Baseball Stadium

BROOKINGS, S.D. (SDSU Sports Information Dept.)  - South Dakota State University will officially christen the newly renovated Erv Huether Field prior to Wednesday’s baseball game against Minnesota.  The pre-game dedication ceremony is scheduled to begin at approximately 2:45 p.m., with first pitch slated for 3 p.m. Thanks to a lead gift from former Jackrabbit standout Dave Lane and his wife, Shari, a permanent grandstand and press box have been constructed behind home plate. The seating project, which features both chairback and bleacher seats, will accommodate nearly 600 fans.
